For employeers

If you are looking for someone to fill a job at your company... here is a little hint. F-ing tell them what the job is, don't spend 2 days trading emails about who and when to call the company. I have a job hunting email address to filter through all this garbage. I reserve my limited time talking to companies for jobs that I am interested in or as a favor to people I know personally. So knock off all this "call us to discuss the details" crap. What the job is isn't a detail, what hours someone is expected to work is a detail.

Idiots.

I had an interview once at a company for no clear position, I was told that my previous work experience wouldn't be applicable, and they didnt know exactly what it is I would be doing.

I finally asked them straight out, "what is it you actually want me to do"

Never got a call back, which I suppose is a good thing.

sigh... the silliness continues. If you are going to bother to email me, take the 3 seconds to look at my resume (that funny document that you got my email address from) and you'll see I've been in industry for just under 10 years now. With that in mind ask yourself... is this a waste of both of our time if I send this email?

Technicians will have to have a laptop with Excel program on it, basic fields will be created to put serial numbers, model number and asset tag number. The recorded data will be transferred with the help of my project manager/engineer on Thursday.
